HVAC-R

The term “HVAC-R” refers to a branch of industry whose object is the development of solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration.

Compared to the past, the current evolution of HVAC-R solutions is driven by two important common factors that need to be considered from the design stage:

the respect for the environment (eco-compatibility) and the consequent reduction in the environmental impact of refrigerant gas due to the global warming potential (GWP), Carbon Dioxide Equivalency (CDE);
the increase in energy efficiency and, consequently, the reduction of electricity consumption.
